Dur-X-Line® Urethane Classifier shoes typically last two to three times longer than ni-hard, white iron, or other metal. Because they are much lighter than metal, machine bearing life is longer and they require less power for operation. Their flexibility helps them to conform to irregularities of the screw flight.

Sand Classifier shoes are also available molded in a contour configuration which offers a tighter fit to the screw.
