Dur-X-Line® Urethane Spray Flanges deflect water evenly to wash material consistently and prevent isolated wear on the screen surface. By eliminating nozzles they also reduce clogging.

Unlike steel or brass spray deflectors, Dur-X-Line® Urethane Spray Flanges won’t become sharp due to wear. This reduces the chances of injury during equipment maintenance.

Installation is easy – the Spray Flanges clamp onto the spray pipes with no additional support needed.

On a screen deck, protection of exposed metal and piping reduces maintenance and replacement parts. Spray bars on wet decks see a lot of wear from material falling from the decks above. Our pre-formed pipe covers are designed to fit 180 degrees around the top of standard water pipes. Durex covers outperform flat liners that have been wrapped around the pipes, due to the lack of stress put on the lining materials. Stressed areas of rubber and plastic causes premature wear points.

Spray aimed at Turbo Trough

There is no need for welding, bolting, or any difficult attachments when used in combination with our beavertail, spray deflectors. The Durex spray deflectors replace metal spray nozzles. They are held in place with U-bolt clamps. The urethane deflectors last many times longer than metal nozzles and prevent the plugging of the pipe water spray holes caused by dirty water. Pipe holes can be enlarged to allow fine particles of dirt through without plugging problems. The water then sprays against the deflectors creating a nice uniform spray onto the screen surfaces.
