Dur-X-Line® Modular Chute Lining System

Chute Liners can be made in almost any shape or size, up to a maximum of 4' wide by 10' long. These wear liners can be manufactured out of Dur-Elast® Urethane or Dur-X-Vulcan® Rubber, in thicknesses of 1/2" to 4" thick (3/8" thick urethane is available). They can be made with various mounting configurations

• Snap in style to mount on Durex Classic U-Channel
• Bolt-in style
• Can be provided with stud bolts welded to back side
• Weld in mounting

Large chutes are usually broken into smaller sections for ease of handling and installation. Durex can supply both urethane and rubber 3-sided chute liners produced to your chute requirements.

Durex can also provide you with a Modular Chute Lining System. This system is based on the same principles as our Dur-X-Snapdeck Modular Screen System. The Dur-X-Line Modular Chute Lining panels snap on to the same steel u-channels and can be replaced by simply removing a worn panel and snapping a new panel in place.

The Dur-X-Line Modular Chute Lining panels are available in a variety of sizes, being 12", 24" or 48" lengths and widths of either 11 5/8" or 6 13/16". These different sizes allow for complete coverage of most chutes. Filler strips are also available, that have a snap on one side only that can be used to match any chute length required. These modular panels can be manufactured out of Dur-Elast® Urethane or Dur-X-Vulcan® Rubber, in thicknesses of 1/2" to 2" thick. (NOTE: Thickness is measured from top of the u-channel to the wear surface.) The thickness required will be determined by material size and drop distance. NOTE: Manufactured without diverters.

In most applications this modular lining system would only need to be installed in high wear areas. It is recommended that the plain steel u-channels be welded across the chute being lined, especially if there are any angular pieces required. Because there is no steel reinforcement inside these panels, they can easily be cut to size by using a reciprocating saw. The existing chute provides the support.
