Eliminate Plugging Problems
Plugging is a major problem with trommel screens-except with the Durex urethane or rubber screen surface. Punched plate surfaces plug and are almost impossible to clean. Durex cast urethane and compression molded rubber have molded, tapered openings so that any rock that lodges in an opening will push through during normal operation.

On the average, openings in cast urethane and molded rubber screens will allow more material to pass through providing you with a more consistent product and higher production. Screening capacity is constant.

Various Mounting Methods Available
Mounting methods include standard bold-down fastening, modular screen systems, and pin and sleeve mount systems.

Modular panels have the advantage of individual panel replacement if one area of the trommel faster than the others. Durex will design and manufacture the U-Channel or EZ Snap Stringer framework and advise on installation. Panels can be replaced from the inside of the trommel by one person.
