Type C - Cable Reinforced Tensioned Screens
Dur-East® Urethane, Dur-X-Vulcan® Rubber, Dur-X-Kleen® Rubber,
and Dur-X-Ultra Flex Side or End Tension Screen panels have air-craft quality
steel tensioning cables beneath the surface to provide strength and structural
support. They are custom-molded to fit your equipment and because they install
just like wire cloth screens, no modifications are needed to your hardware
or tensioning system.
- Polymer screen material with internal cable tensioning
- Solid land areas are designed over bucker (crown) bar locations, except
for Dur-X-Ultra Flex, for maximum strength and long life allowing optimum
use of all remaining screen surface for maximum open area
- Recommend using hold-down donuts or bars and J-bolts for screens over 4 feet wide.
- Molded tapered openings to eliminate plugging
- Openings on straight row centers
- Choice of Polymer Screen Materials and tapered opening sizes
- For a light weight alternative to wire cloth, use Dur-X-Lite Cable
Reinforced Tensioned Urethane Screens
Custom features can be added, such as:
- Molded in Dams, Skid Bars, and Laps
- Solid impact areas to withstand heavy loads fed to the screen surface
- Stainless Steel hooks
