Type
A and B - Bolt-In Screen Panels
Dur-X-Vulcan(R) Rubber Bolt-In Screen panels are generally
used on top decks for coarse screening applications. They are available in
traditional bolt-in designs, as well as with hooked edges that can replace
wire cloth without expensive screen box modifications.
- Polymer screen material with a steel backing plate
- Steel backing plate around
- A group of openings (plaquette)-—Type A
Generally applies to openings less than 2 inches square
- A single opening —Type B
Generally applies to openings 2 inches square and
- Rubber is vulcanized to steel backing plate, Urethane is bonded to steel
backing plate
- Come with counter bored bolt holes
- Tapered openings to eliminate plugging
- Type A
Screens have openings on straight row centers
- Type B
Screens can be straight row or staggered openings
- Choice of Polymer Screen Materials and tapered opening sizes
- Order in overall thicknesses in ¼ inch increments only
Custom features can be added, such as:
- Molded in Skid bars to keep oversize material off the screen surface and
make openings available to smaller material.
- Solid impact areas to withstand heavy loads fed to the screen surface
