Dur-X-Snapdeck® 2000 Modular Screen Systems

Durex Advanced modular system - Urethane or Rubber

Back in the 1970's, Durex sparked a revolution with one of the industries first modular screen systems - Dur-X-Snapdeck® Classic. It set the standard for ease of installation, and proved that modular panels could handle the daily punishment of aggregate and mining operations.

  • Dur-X-Snapdeck® 2000 system will provide up to 40% more open area than the original Snapdeck® system.
  • The subframe costs less than the original system. It is now manufactured out of standard stock instead of special extrusions.
  • New EZSnap attachment system makes modular screen installation easy. No pins, sleeves, intermediate strips or extra parts required. The whole deck is designed for standard panels - no "unique" panels along the sideliners.
  • Modular screens are available in a variety of urethane or rubber compounds.
  • Optional diverters, flow restrictors, and dams meet specific application needs.
  • Easy field retrofit from wire cloth or other modular systems.

Find out how the next generation of Durex modular screening media can improve your operations.

Durex EZSnap Button-Down Installation
The heart of the Dur-X-Snapdeck® 2000 system is its unique EZSnap frame buttons. These mounting buttons are made from hardened steel (not mild steel) or long wearing polyurethane for optimum frame life.

Factory Installation
Ordering a new screen box? Be sure to specify the Dur-X-Snapdeck® 2000 system, and let the screen box manufacturer install it for you. That way, your new screen box will deliver all the productivity advantages of the Dur-X-Snapdeck® 2000 system its first day on the job.

Easy Field Retrofit
It typically takes just a few hours to convert one of your existing screen boxes to the Dur-X-Snapdeck® 2000 system. Here are the five basic steps. Ask your Durex representative for detailed field retrofit instructions.

  1. Remove all existing screen panels, clamp rails, hold downs, bucker bars, etc.
  2. Position the stringers using the furnished gauge bar and tack-weld into place.
  3. Weld stringers to cross member.
  4. Snap screen panels in place.
  5. Install the sideliner on top of the outside panel.

Choice of Materials
Dur-X-Snapdeck® 2000 modular screens and wear parts are molded in a variety of materials.
