HISTORY
Durex Products was established in 1965 as a provider
of innovative, cost-effective screening media and wear part solutions. Our business began with the goal of providing a welcome alternative
to excessive wear and replacement costs, and an end to the daily downtime caused
by inferior screening media. Since our inception, we have set new standards
for quality and durability. Our field-proven products continually allow producers
to clearly document greater wear life, higher production capacities and lower
costs per ton.
During our 40-year history, Durex Products has grown from a regional supplier to an international operation with distributors and representatives worldwide. Take a look at our historical timeline:

- 1970 - To meet demand, a second and third plant are added.
- 1975 - Molded polyurethane screening media, based on advanced European technology, is introduced.
- 1980 - Durex engineers create an innovative, new line of rubber screening media and wear parts.
- 1985 - An Employee Stock Ownership Plan is adopted, initiating an ongoing commitment to superior customer service.
- 1990 - Durex enters international markets via a joint venture with Camline of Cobalt, Ontario. In the decade to follow, Durex expanded its product distribution through additional partnerships with Cribas y Productos Metalicos in Mexico, and Vimax in Brazil.
